Position Description

 Fixed-Term Instructor of Nursing

Responsible for teaching courses in nursing and other courses or duties that may be assigned by Northwest College. Responsible for supervising Allied Health or Nursing students in lab and clinical experiences. In addition to teaching, there may be Division responsibilities and academic service duties as described in the NWC Board Policy Manual. These may include, but are not limited to advising students, participating on committees, student recruitment, curriculum development and articulation with high school and university faculty. Will include travel to surrounding areas for clinical experiences and may include some weekend, overnight, or evening hours. Position typically requires a teaching load of the equivalent of 30 credits per year.

Assignment period - 2025-2026 academic year; Position continuation is contingent upon Wyoming Investment in Nursing (WyIN) funding.
