School Nurse

Young Scholars of Central Pennsylvania Charter School in State College, PA is seeking dynamic applicants to serve as Registered Nurse in our school. This position offers the same work (7.5-hour) workday and work calendar as teachers, with summer, winter and spring breaks off. Minimum Qualifications: All applicants must possess a valid PA Registered Nurse license with experience; preferably in a school setting or other nursing experience with children. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated knowledge and understanding of best nursing practices; the ability to effectively and strategically interact and communicate orally and in writing with students, parents, and staff for the health and welfare of all students.
