RN, MSN, PMHNP-BC New

This position is for a board certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner who is passionate to care for patients in New Mexico. This provider will do psychiatric evaluations, conduct psychotherapy appointments, and prescribe medications depending on the patients individual need. This provider will practice independently with the patient to build a healthy lifestyle plan and meet the patient where they are at to improve their overall quality and quantity of life. 
Adjunct Knowledge of medication assisted treatment for various substance dependence issues or willingness to learn this is important. 
The psychiatric Care center providers see all patients with varying mental health needs. 
In addition, we are looking for a provider who has additional experience working with LGBTQ population, as well as, hormone replacement therapy. 

License and certification requirements: 

National Board Certification by American Nurse Credentialing Center (ANCC) to practice as  Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner 

New Mexico RN, CNP license

CPR, ACLS

NM CS and DEA to prescribe
