OHSU has three missions: healing, teaching, and discovery. In the School of Nursing, these focus to optimize health, prepare nurse leaders, and transform health care. The appointee shall provide services as assigned by the supervisor in furtherance of the university’s missions and goals of teaching, research, patient care, outreach, and public service.
$124,637-$143,333
Clinical Activities (not related to teaching or research):
- This faculty’s clinical practice may be separate from the OHSU FTE or may be incorporated into the overall OHSU FTE; this is part of position negotiation.
Scholarly Activities (research/writing, abstracts, grant supported work, presentations, etc.):
- As negotiated.
Education Activities (include types of teaching and types of students taught):
- Instruction and supervision in PNP, APRN and DNP Core courses as assigned.
Service Activities:
- As negotiated.
Administrative Activities:
- Participate in monthly PNP faculty meetings and SON meetings. Serve as an advisor for PNP students. Participate in student candidate interviews and admissions activities.
Other Activities:
- The appointee shall provide services as assigned by the supervisor in furtherance of the university’s missions and goals of teaching, research, patient care, outreach and public service.
Education: (Degree dependent on academic program type and rank of position.)
- DNP and current certification as a PNP is required
Registrations, Certifications and/or Licenses: (Current licensure & certifications could be required depending on position and academic program.)
- Oregon RN and APRN license is required.
Experience: (Experience dependent on academic program type and rank of position.)
- At least two years of clinical experience required; teaching experience at graduate level or higher preferred.
